The sharing settings work, but they feel kind of limited to me. I was trying to give my accountant partial access, and I kept feeling like the controls were more confusing than they needed to be. Maybe I’m missing something, but it doesn’t seem flexible enough and ended up being annoying.

I’ve been using Sharesight to keep track of my portfolio, and at first I was kind of cautious about it. I mean, it’s my financial data, so I’m not exactly relaxed about where that goes. But then I poked around, found the privacy info easily, and realized my data doesn’t feel like it’s being scattered everywhere. The login process is quick, but still has that secure feel to it. So yeah, I went from suspicious to pleased. No issues so far.

As a self-directed investor who likes to stay on top of my portfolio, Sharesight has been frustrating. Pages hang, reports don’t always load, and there have been a few times where the whole site just felt painfully slow.

I’m not using it for anything fancy, I just want to quickly check where things stand without having to refresh and wait around. For something I’m paying for, I expected it to feel a lot more stable and dependable...

I’ve found the benchmark comparison easy to use, and it gives me a better sense of whether my portfolio is actually on track or not. It’s not something I rely on for everything, but it’s been a useful way to get a quick comparison. I’d say it’s worth trying if you want a simple way to check your performance.

So... I mainly use Sharesight because it connects with my broker, and when everything syncs properly it definitely saves me a lot of manual typing. Most of my trades come through without any issues, and the portfolio view is useful. That said, the broker integration can be a bit hit and miss. Sometimes trades take ages to appear, or I end up having to double-check details that are missing. It’s not terrible, but it could definitely use a bit more polish. 3 stars from me

It’s definitely not the cheapest option out there, but i feel like it was worth it for me. The quality and overall experience made the price easier to justify. I wouldn’t call it a bargain, but I’m happy with what I got.

I’ve been using Sharesight for a while now and it’s been really solid for tracking my portfolio. The prices, dividends, and currency conversions all match up closely with what I see in my broker, so no complaints there. It’s saved me sooo much time vs messing around in spreadsheets, especially with buys and sells happening on different dates. The design isn’t exactly perfect imo, but I care way more about accuracy, and it does that really well. Easy 5 stars from me.

Data sync has been mostly reliable for me. I did run into a couple delays here and there, but nothing too annoying, and I can't say it wasn't doing its job most of the time
